It’s been a rough year, we’ve all been busy. The kid has had a great time in kindergarten but I think she’s glad to be done. I know I’m glad to be done school for this year, though I register for next year next week. All her activities have wrapped up, except for swimming, and I have a week to rest up before she’s off. And once she’s off we will drain every ounce of fun out of this summer that we can.

I also know that the quality time we spend this summer, even just hanging out together, is so important. These are the things she’ll remember as she gets older. Me too.
