Mud, Honey

We’re officially on our road trip. More than 1500 km in two days and we finally reached our destination. We’re renting a house in Nova Scotia for about a week. Now, I love this country. Driving through the hills of New Brunswick I almost cried because of how beautiful it is. I’ve driven west on my own before, but this is the first time we’ve gone east with me in the driver’s seat.

We got all the way through Quebec yesterday and today we spent a little extra time and stopped at a place I’ve never seen: The Hopewell Rocks.

It was a little out of our way, but after a rough day on the road it was well worth it. It got us out of the car, into nature and playing in the mud.

And the kid dubbed it the best mud ever.

She thought it was awesome, she stomped around, she splashed and she laughed and laughed – from the time we got to the bottom of the stairs to the time we washed her feet.
