Don't just live in the world

November is over.

I posted on this blog every day, I wrote 50,135 words for #NaNoWriMo and my husband will finally shave his mustache as we turn our attention to other things.

I enjoyed the writing. I got some momentum and lost myself in a story like I haven’t in a long time. Now I have the opportunity to take charge of that momentum and work on some other projects I’ve been either thinking about or working on this year.

This November pushed me into a new sort of attitude – the ‘I might as well try’ attitude. I thought it was crazy to do #NaNoWriMo and then I finished by November 19. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to think of something to blog about every day, so I used prompts and often those posts made me happier than I thought I would be.

I love writing and if I force myself to try then I get good results. If I apply to do things, I may very well get the opportunity. I might as well.
